Air Conditioning Drought Initiative

The Air Conditioning Dealer Association, of whom we are a founding member, are leaders and innovators in the air conditioning & refrigeration industry, and have commenced the “Drought Initiative”.

The initiative is aimed at reducing water consumption by recycling your air conditioning condensate water.  This is achieved by modifying your existing air conditioning drains to allow you to collect the water and utilise where needed.

These modifications can be applied to most common system types and the cost is only minor.

With the drought ever increasing, please take the following into consideration:-

If all the homes air conditioned by the Aircraft Noise Insulation Project in NSW, around 1,600 homes, collected their water this summer, they alone would be able to fill around 20 backyard swimming pools.

Queensland has hundreds of thousands of air conditioning systems installed and could collect millions of litres of water a year for free.
