This fully renovated old shopfront Queenslander was perfect for the super modular system. The building has 4 different levels all with different thermal aspects, in addition there is 3 skillion flat roofs 1x double storey section and two small pitched roofs.
Whilst it would have been possible to install a traditional ducted system utilising bulkheads and duct risers the temperature control would have been a nightmare.
The added advantage of a modular system is that only small refrigerant piping is run to the various indoor fan units providing a very flexible installation.
For this project the solution was to install the Toshiba SMMS with 8 indoor fan coils connected to a single 10hp twin digital inverter condenser. This allowed every office independent control with the flexibility to run any single office (which happens frequently after hours) or the whole building during normal operation.

Showroom - This area has roof space above, however it was decided to install the ducted fan coil below the ceiling for display purpose:-

Sales - This office could have been serviced from the install unit, however a bulkhead unit was selected to give individual control.

Install - This area also has pitched roof space. A ducted fan coil was selected to enable the kitchen and WC to be air conditioned via ducting from single fan coil unit.

Accounts - This office had little options due to the flat skillion roof. So a purpose built bulkhead was created to house the small hideaway fan coils, which also have the advantage of individual operation and temperature control.
